FNSSS00004 BAS AGENT REGISTRATION SKILL SET

  • Nationally recognised  (RTO No 45225).
  • Developed according to the Australian Quality Framework (AQF) for accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Perfect for people who have already been working in the accounting and finance industries
  • The BAS Agent Registration course consists of two units of competency.
  • FNSTPB401 – Complete business activity and installment activity statements;
  • FNSTPB402 – Establish and maintain payroll systems
  • These units are designed to meet the educational requirements of the Tax Practitioner Board (TPB). (As part of TPB requirement to register as a BAS agent you will need to complete 40% of your assessment under independent supervision.)
  • This skill set also provides credits towards FNS40217 Certificate IV  in Accounting and Bookkeeping.

Is there any entry requirements?

  • There are no formal educational entry requirements.
  • However, our consultant will contact the student upon the enrolment to make sure the training is the right one.
  • The student is requested to complete a short language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) assessment prior to the commencement of the course, to make sure the student is capable of completing the course successfully.

  • Perfect for people who are seeking a career in the accounting industry, including business activity statement (BAS) agent and contract bookkeepers, or anyone wanting to enhance their professional skills in this area.
  • Students will learn the core skills and knowledge required to perform tasks such as working effectively in the industry, carrying out financial calculations, processing financial transactions, preparing budgets and reports, setting up and maintaining payroll systems and learning about business taxation requirements and obligations.
